Behind the Name
Barefoot Pivot | A Scriptural Foundation
In Exodus 3:5, God calls to Moses and says, “Do not come any closer. Remove your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”
This moment is more than instruction—it is an invitation into reverence.
To remove one’s sandals was the ultimate act of honor and humility, a physical acknowledgment that God’s presence was holy and not to be approached casually. It signified awareness, respect, and a willingness to slow down and recognize what is sacred.
Barefoot is drawn from this posture. It represents approaching God, truth, and timeless wisdom with humility and deep respect—recognizing when we are standing on holy ground, whether through divine encounter, sacred truth, or the voices and experiences that carry wisdom forward.
Pivot reflects what follows revelation. When truth is revealed, perspective must shift. A pivot is the intentional decision to turn, to realign, and to respond differently because wisdom has been encountered.
Together, Barefoot Pivot embodies Sacred Shifts—moments where reverence meets response. Moments that ask us not only to honor what is holy, but to live differently because of it.
Because wisdom deserves reverence. And reverence invites transformation.
What does the 3 zeros represent in our logo/symbol?
The number zero signifies new beginnings and the start of a new journey. Three zeros is a powerful message encouraging introspection, spiritual growth, and the embrace of those new beginnings with an open and teachable mindset. It’s a reminder to embrace change, trust the journey, and pivot toward a holy reset. For us, it’s more than a number—it’s the heartbeat of Barefoot Pivot as together we step into the sacred shifts that shape our stories.
